Lady said she was calling from the breast cancer association taking donations. I said sorry I can't right now. She tried to sound professional and asked for as little as $20. Said no again and she said have a nice day and hung up. Figured it was a scam.
I received a call from this number this evening at 6:02PM. Caller ID indicated Michigan Call and I did not answer it because I get a number of unwanted calls from Michigan. I was surprised when I looked up the number on 800notes and found no previous complaints had been recorded. My answering machine picked up the call. Though there was no one who left a message, I could hear a lot of low volume humans jabbering in the background for several seconds after the answering machine has started recording. This left no doubt in my mind that the call was from a telemarketing environment where many people are in the same room all making harassing phone calls to innocent people.
If you have AT&T Uverse phone, go to the online menu and add this phone number and 81-224-5028 (the other number they call from) to the blocked senders list under phone features. The phone won't even ring.

We got the call from this number tonight at 7:17PM. As of now, "The TRILOGY" is complete.
In the last 36 hours we have received calls from TWO OTHER "Michigan Call"s: 810-224-5028 AND 989-462-0241.
If its the same "charity" then HOW the H*LL could they ALL be in Michigan but in THREE DIFFERENT AREA CODES????? I've read how others have received all three 'Michigan Caller" calls.
Also got one in this same time span from "CALIFORNIA" from 949-933-2425. Note that the Area Code is just one number different from one of the "Michigan" calls.
NONE of these calls had anyone 'there' on the other end, nor did they leave any messages on the machine.
