Who called from 2484294201

Answered even though I didn't recognize number. A man indicating that he was representing some national group to fight breast cancer and support Breast cancer research
. I told him that we don't take solicitations over the phone and said we support the cause locally.  He very politely backed off. Suspect it is shady.

I receive a call from this number 248-429-4201 Oxford, MI calls everyday all types of times. They just called again and never leave a message. I do not answer calls from places I do not recognize. I'm registered on the do no call list and find it does no good. Complaints were filed on their website but no response regarding thes suspicious calls. May have to change my home number.

These people call all the time. We now simply pick up and hang up within a second or two.

If you have caller ID don't pick up any ID you do not recognize - if anyone wants to contact you they will leave a message.

These types of calls can record if someone answers and they will keep calling for sure.

Register your phone number with the National Do Not Call List: https://www.donotcall.gov/ - at least they keep track of these numbers.

If you should get a message that asks you to press any key - DO NOT - that confirms your number.
