What the irony is that I am paying for an unlisted number.
Plus due to the government shut down ....the do not call web site is down!
Next time they call, answer it, and offer them an alternative number (not yours of course).
Give them the number for your local politician, and/or your local police department. Not claiming this is actually your number, or that you are a politician or police officer. But if THEY get enough of these calls you won't need to report it to Do Not Call anymore.
At 6:57pm I received a call from 1-248-429-4201 which says Michigan Call. I didn't answer. I never answer calls from unknown numbers. They didn't leave a message on my answering machine either.
Just got a call and the man ID himself calling from the Breast Cancer Society for permission to send a card to me to support the cause. I stated yes send the card and was immediately forwarded to a woman who asked that I save money buy paying with a credit card or debit card over the phone. I stated no I would not... I will be surprised if I do receive a pledge card from the Breast Cancer Society... seemed legit until I was asked for credit or debit card... watch out for this one they are sly ones.
