i've been getting these call for years now. i work 3rd so when i awake,there they are. whenever i can i try to answer,just to say" i asked to be taken off your calling list.?" they are always so appologetic. "oh im sorry,well take u right off". then silence for about 2 months,then there they are again. from what i learned it cant be blocked,and u cant return the call cause it's from a computer generated system set-up different from our calling range. but WE must find a way to stop them. I am of the opinion- I DONT CARE IF YOUR WITH A NON PROFIT CHARITY-I DIDNT GIVE YOUR MY NUMBER,SO STOP F*:@#ing calling me. same goes for the politicians.

Michigan is getting desperate. 2nd call from 248 area code today but different #. no message left, caller ID Oxford MI. Called back and got immediate hang-up. I get regular calls from Michigan area codes leaveing no messages on ansering machine.
A woman actually was on the other end when I picked up the phone thinking it was a call I was expecting. She said she was calling on behalf of terminally ill children. I told her I had to hang up because I was expecting an important call and she was very polite and hung up. I usually do not answer these unknown number calls; it doesn't stop them from calling again and again and again. I've gotten three different ones today before noon.
