I loved that you dedicated most of an episode of your show to this scammer. I busted out laughing when they wanted payment for back taxes in the form of Target Gift Card.
Got a call from (253)-203-1849: it was an automated message (in a computer voice) that said, "Hello, we have been trying to reach you. The IRS is filing a lawsuit against you. For more information regarding this lawsuit, please call 253-203-1849. Thank you." The IRS would never do this - they would send you something in the mail first, if anything. If a lawsuit were ever to be filed against you, they would find you in person. This phone call is obviously a scam. I did not even try to call back.
Let the answering machine get the call. Some robo call claiming the IRS is going to sue me. The IRS will ONLY contact someone via the USPS and NEVER by the telephone.
I started calling them back and asking them if they are screwing goats and they just laughed and said yes, They knew I was on to them so I made a very off color comment about there mother and they totally freaking out and started screaming they would kill me lol, I called back for over a hour until they finally just stopped answering my calls lol
