Got a call from (253)-203-1849: it was an automated message (in a computer voice) that said, "Hello, we have been trying to reach you. The IRS is filing a lawsuit against you. For more information regarding this lawsuit, please call 253-203-1849. Thank you." The IRS would never do this - they would send you something in the mail first, if anything. If a lawsuit were ever to be filed against you, they would find you in person. I called the number and started asking questions (4 calls) the male person hangs up when I say, "Really? you are IRS?" I am on a mission to call and prank this person 4x for the next few days! >:-)
Received several calls from this number claiming to be the IRS and I'm being sued. I did return their phone call yesterday (like they asked me to). They asked if I had legal representation, and he needed to know the name of my lawyer. When I didn't provide them the information, Agent said I was "pissing him off". I laughed. He got very defensive. I told him that I know this is a scam. His response "yes, I know this is a scam, and my big boss knows this is a scam too".
These idiots will agree and acknowledge that this is a scam.
He told me that I was an intelligent lady, and hung up.
On 9/9/16 i received a call claiming to be from IRS:
Hello this call is officially final notice from IRS Internal Revenue Service. The reason of this call is to inform you that the IRS is filling lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file please call immediately on our department number 253-203-1867. I repeat 253-203-1867. Thank you.
Today is 9/9/2016 I just receive a call from this # 253-203-1849 stating the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you and they have been trying to reach me. I don't think the IRS will be calling anyone.. I think you would receive some type of certified mail plus I don't owe the IRS anything. Evil people
