This has to be a scam of some sort. I've received calls from several different numbers, but all the same "program". At first, after they said their initial announcement, I would ask to be removed from the calling list and they would just immediately hang up. I asked for a Supervisor on the last call and stated that I do not know what the "program" is, but I have asked multiple times for my number to be removed. The person I spoke with stated they would ensure that I did not receive any further calls. We'll see....
During 5 hours I recieved a total of 28 calls from this person, some of the calls came as often as every single minute, then every 3 minutes, every 5 minutes. I did not pick up since I didn't recognize the number. The person did not leave any voicemail. If it's important you would think they would leave a voicemail after calling that many times. This is true harassment and terrorizing of a stay at home mom for sure, I need to take care of my young children and can't have some crazy wacko person keep on calling me like this. Just waiting for them to start over with this terror again, they gave me a break for now. I don't know anybody with that area code either.
They said I was given a gov. grant. I would not any info to them but they have been calling and calling. If I pick up the phone rings and some guy with a accent speaks. So feels like scam
They have called me 7 times in 5 mins. Since Dec 1 I have received 23 phone calls from various numbers telling me about a governmeny grant. I have asked them to never call me again, but it still continues
I do not know who this is but they call HUNDREDS of times a week. I typically do not pick it up, not recognizing the number. Today I picked it up, DID NOT SAY A WORD. Could hear a lot of background noise indicating maybe telemarketing or phone pool. Anyway a woman who had an accent asked for me. I said, what do you want. She told me she does not want anything. I asked again, what do you want and if you do not tell me then stop calling here and take me off your list. She said if you hang up, I will call you 100 more times. I said you call me again, I will report you to the police and the FBI. She told me she is in Washington DC... go ahead report me to FBI, they will do nothing. I was curious to see how far this woman would take this but my insides got the better of me. I told her again, take me off your list.... and hung up.
They keep calling my husband and I picked up the phone. Th 1st time he hung up on me. He did the same thing the second time so I called them back to see what they wanted. He told me that I had the wrong number if I had the wrong number then they wouldnt keep calling 9 or 10 times A DAY!!! Its ridiculous if you ask me
