This has to be a scam of some sort. I've received calls from several different numbers, but all the same "program". At first, after they said their initial announcement, I would ask to be removed from the calling list and they would just immediately hang up. I asked for a Supervisor on the last call and stated that I do not know what the "program" is, but I have asked multiple times for my number to be removed. The person I spoke with stated they would ensure that I did not receive any further calls. We'll see....
they told me that they are giving money from the us gov. to people who have been paying there taxes and not in trouble with the law. they want me to go out and buy a green dot prepaid credit card with 150$ on it and call them back with the code on the card and then within 20 min they will put 8,000$ plus the original 150$ for a total of 8,150$ issued to the card. The man has a foreign accent i believe to be mideastern but says that they are giving money from the us gov. i think it may be a scam to get the 150$ bc if it was really the us gov. they would send us a check, right??? also when i said that i couldn't do it right away that it might take some time i could hear him talking to someone else he said his "supervisor" it was in another language not "English". so i told them that i would have to try to come up with that much money and they have called several times a day since. i am not answering. They left one message the first call no messages since. anyway to get to the point I think that this is a scam i don't trust these people and don't think you should either for all i know it could be funding terrorists idk but i just can't bring myself to trust them maybe 10$ id take a chance like the lotto but 150$ is allot for me and that could add up fast for a scam. thanks for you're time and hope i have helped you.
i have had this guy call me several vulgar names bc he is a scam artist. he claims to be us fed grants department.. then i called him back and told him he doesnt have to scam people. If you let people know what kind of money you would like to help do what you are trying to do then they might help out. he then says he has scammed people out of 25000 so far and needs about 18000 to start his business. i told him i have his m=number and will speak with my hubby who will want verification that he is opening a business and we might be able to be investors so it is a tax write off. I asked him where i could send the money and he says he has two different locations. One in florida and one washingston state,
