That is what I did..They stopped for a couple weeks now this number has come up so it has to be a new person and I will tell them the same thing I may say the IRS this time...
Same man with heavy Indian accent calls and claims I have an outstanding pay-day loan (which I don't). Claims I'll be sued and that he has a federal subpoena for me and must have either a) my lawyers info or b) my bank account info (as if!). He's a liar and a fraud. Knowing a bit about federal law, I ask that he send the subpoena to my house, which is legally required to be served! He keeps calling, over and over, no matter how many times I tell him to stop!
I have been spam-bombed by this number and several others in the last few days. Every hour or two I get a telemarketer call of text. I reached my limit of five blocks already in the first two hours of this yesterday. The advice I have gotten from other people who have had these calls is ignore them, don't answer, or they keep calling. They get a credit for every answer and then you get more calls.
I get calls from this and many other numbers about loans I've never applied for. I also receive 3-4 smap texrts msgs a day addressed to Beatrice Rodriquez. No clue who she is. I finally answered one call and asked how they got my number and waws told I had registered at "AllABoutBabies.com" Since I'm a single 65 yr old male, I doubt that ! Anyone know how to stop this madness?
