I got tired of all these calls and bought me a good Call Blocker. Can now block individual calls, area number calls and block ID names. I like the Digitone.
caller ID says MED. did not answer. left no message. from the above posts learned they are trying to sell pain meds. it makes me wonder if they can access your medical. records., this can be serious, .
On the called ID the name was " Med.". It began as a robo call promising me a free alert package given to me after a referral from AARP.
When I spoke with the operator he became quite belligerent when I confronted him about violating the do not call list. He insisted that his company was not required to adhere to that law and that it was my responsibility to screen my received through an answering machine system. He insisted that if I were a lawyer I would know his robo all company was not violating the do not call list. (though from what he insisted, the do not call list is not " really" a law. He said that any American company may do business my placing telephone calls since stamps are now 55 cents. He also said that my number was relayed to them from AARP. We'll see.
