Won't leave a message. Caller ID says "Auburn WA". In the past, calls from "Auburn WA" (but different no.) have been reported as the "I'm calling from Microsoft to fix your computer" scam. I suspect they are spoofing a different no. now.
Roe-could you tell me more about your call blocking device and does it work well? I researched a few different ones a while back on Amazon and the reviews were very mixed so I have yet to buy one. My Panasonic phone blocks a few numbers, not nearly enough. I hate it though that the phone rings once before it blocks. I have chronic insomnia and health issues that often has me napping during the day and have threatened to just turn the phone off altogether. Thus far I just never pick up unknown numbers, keep my answering service on only when I'm not home and use my caller id to call back friends and family. I have heard that they will keep calling if a machine picks up because then they know its a good phone number and will keep on calling or worse pass your number on as a good number.
My Panasonic Phone has a call block feature. It also has a way to have it not ring until the second ring so that you do't hear the ring of a blocked number.
Now if Panasonic could come up with a caller destroy feature . . .
