Received a call from this number today. Caller ID said 'St" Call was blocked by my PhoneTray computer program which says it is some sort of senior coupon telemarketer. Probably another spoofed number for the Senior Alert which has been calling from various false numbers offering coupons for their product.
Same thing several days ago -- Caller ID was "ST." Upon answering it was a recording that "you can get $3000 worth of coupons, medical alert device at no cost to you, etc."
Same message, just from this phone number this time, will be from another number another time.
My mother asked "If you block the number, why do they keep calling?" I explained that it's not just a guy sitting at a desk in New York (or wherever) callng, it's a recording that could be coming from any of hundreds of locations across the country. Each specific phone number has to be blocked.
Call from this number June 24, 22:35 AM. We are absolutely besieged with calls from telemarketers offering medic alert buttons, discount cards, etc. I never pick up if I don't recognize the name or number so they are wasting their time. Unfortunately they are wasting mine too!
