In my definition of effective, they are not. It seems since I submitted my number for their list, I've gotten an increase in unwanted calls. As I've said many times, if the NSA is powerful enough to spy on us, they should be able to find these perpetrators. I came back here to list a 4th call, which I hadn't noticed:
Caller ID says "Auburn WA"; some pain-cream scam message pretending to be from "your healthcare provider." We got a couple of calls over the past few days, so I finally blocked the number. Will lodge a complaint with the Do Not Call/FTC folks [for all the good that will do!]c
Ran like crazy to pick up on call from 253-245-2534 identified as ST. I missed the call then researched the number here only to find out it is some scam to sell a pain cream.
Oh well, I'm sure they'll call back!
