I just totally got this call on my cell phone. I work for the feds and I am sick of these scammers who need to get real jobs and quit trying to make threats to working people. I just watch the YouTube video of a guy that recorded the whole thing and when he called the number back it was an Asian voice on the end and she ended up hanging up on him.
Scam call claiming to be from "Internal Revenue Service" and threatening a lawsuit. Now "improved" with a robotic voice instead of the old-style call I used to get from a guy with a South Asian accent. You need to know that the IRS *never* calls about taxes: they send letters through the mail. Don't waste your time calling back: it's bogus.

But it's oh so much fun calling them back and giving them a dose of their own medicine, don't you think? I did this yesterday when I saw them on my caller id. I called them 6 times in a row....the first time they tried to tell me what they wanted from me, 3 times they hung up on ME (LOL), 1 time they just let it ring about 20 times, 1 time they even cussed me out! HA!!! I told them "How's it feel to be on the receiving end"?? That's when they told me to go eff myself. All different men, all with very thick Mexican and Indian accents. I mentioned that it was strange how none of them spoke American English. Told them that if they're claiming to be the IRS and were going to try to spam someone, they should get an authentic American English-speaking person to pose as their "manager", that people might be more inclined to "believe" their pack of lies. The Indian speaking man got highly irate with me after that comment. What he said to me I can't repeat here! :-) I felt SO empowered!!
