I just totally got this call on my cell phone. I work for the feds and I am sick of these scammers who need to get real jobs and quit trying to make threats to working people. I just watch the YouTube video of a guy that recorded the whole thing and when he called the number back it was an Asian voice on the end and she ended up hanging up on him.
Message claiming that they were the IRS and this was my last chance to take care of an outstanding debt with IRS prior to them filing suit. Please call 253-843-6546 immediately to avoid law suit.
You know what these [***] left the same BS message on my machine this morning. Didn't have time to mess with it so I waited till tonight to call them back and roast their [***].
I received the same message as the previous folks--they are filing a lawsuit and this is our last chance! (For what?) The IRS does NOT call people; they send letters. We also got letters from the IRS in the last week telling us they received the amendment to our 2014 taxes and all is good. This lawsuit sure came up suddenly, eh? I wish these scammers would find something else to do.
