Very pleasant young man, Devon, tried to sell me energy switch. Would not give him any info, and he said info is on my utility company bill (OTHER energy companies....ALL with bad reviews also say the same thing that info is on my bill. ) Yeah, but NOT all the companies call only that you can switch). Did some research and they have three bad reviews, none good that I could find. Normally would spend more time checking it out. He was prepared for EVERY question I threw at him, so they are sounding more legit. Also the name he gave was Sperian, although the call came from PA (he said I could call back for legitimacy), It is tough NOT to answer when you know the call is within short traveling distance from your home and could be a family member. If it had shown it was from out of state, I would not have answered. In the background, there were lots of voices speaking, so I am listing it as telemarket.
I've never had a problem with Burpee & have been a decades long customer. I've only gotten calls from them concerning my orders (such as later shipping date) & they list themselves on caller ID devices as Burpee. As others had pointed out, the call I'd gotten from this number was from Experion Energy & they keep calling like crackheads & leave no messages.
Received three calls just today, he she or it wanted to talk to the person that pays the electric bills. Next time they call will tell them I am off the grid using solar. Asked them to put me on their do-not-call list they just kept talking.
I called the number back and got a lady who claimed she was from PECO, and said I needed to verify my personal info to get a discount on my bill. I did not believe that she was from PECO at this point. It is either a phishing scam or one of those energy companies that want you to switch from PECO. Regardless, this company has no ethics, so do not bother to return the call.
I get this call continuously on my Fax machine lately. I would think whoever would get the message that they are calling a fax modem. Silly me. Wish I had the technology to seek out these individuals. There's a definite problem that needs to be addressed!.
It is bad enough, this energy company calls throughout the day every day. But to call with hang-ups as well.
Shameful nasty telemarketers with nothing better to do all day long, but sit on their big fat [***], harassing people who pay for a phone service, not to be harassed by a bunch of losers who can not find a "Real" job one that involves Production, accomplishments to be proud of each day.
All you telemarketers, Listen real good...
Get off your fat [***] and get a "Real" Job.
