We have great credit, thankfully, but somehow my cell number became the target for collecting on a student loan. There were tons of calls (I never answered thanks to these websites) and then peace until today this number showed up. So not sure how my number got on their lists, I haven't had a student loan since 1983, and it was paid up long ago. Bless you all for reporting on these numbers.
I keep getting calls from this number. As of yet they have not left any messages. My caller id showes the number. I do not have any outstanding debts. There is no reason for them to contact me. My phone number is also listed on the "Do not call " list.
i got a call from 267-407-0100 and they were asking me for my social security number and i told them i didn't want to give it out and they hung up and it sounded like he was talking to someone in the back round i tried to call back to see y he had hung up and it said voice mail was not setup good by im thinking he called me from his cell phone and i kept calling back and he didn't pick up

These jokers call my cell phone. They ask for Karen and Joe Smith (of course not my real name). I have been Karen Jones for 13 years and Joe Smith has been dead for four years. My cell phone is in the name of Karen Jones. If they are looking to collect on something from me and my late ex-husband, this debt is at least 14 years old.
