We have great credit, thankfully, but somehow my cell number became the target for collecting on a student loan. There were tons of calls (I never answered thanks to these websites) and then peace until today this number showed up. So not sure how my number got on their lists, I haven't had a student loan since 1983, and it was paid up long ago. Bless you all for reporting on these numbers.
Best explaination of collection tactics and who Tate & Kirlin represent. I have a distant relative that is deceased and I believe their debt was with Chase (passed with a ton of medical and other bills and zero cash). I have no outstanding defaults and couldn't figure out who or why this outfit would be calling. Now I know its a connect the dots game and harass anyone related to the deceased or with that same last name. Of course it would be improper for Chase to contact me, but aparently not to have their collection stooges harass myself and other relations for debts that are not ours. Good info, Thanks foe999 and Google...
"Lock all your doors" I highly doubt that. It's one thing to come on here and post "factual" information about these sleaze bags but to make stuff up like that is just ridiculous.
