I got this scammer call, too. No, I never answer calls that are not from my contacts. That is why I have voicemail. With no voicemail or caller ID blocked,  I never call back. Occasionally, I will look on Google for who made the call, but I still don't call them. My voicemail message is "Please leave you name, phone number, who you represent and why you called. If you do not leave the full message it is like you never called. I never answer caller ID blocked  or calls from people not in my contact list. I apologize that my message lasts for 31 seconds, but at 30 seconds most robot calls hang up before they get to leave me a blank voicemail."

This Michigan number called my cell phone at 12:15 pm on sept. 27.  no message left.

I received a call from this number at 1:00 PM. This is NOT a Michigan number although it starts with 269. It's actually the international country code from a small island between Madagascar and the east coast of Africa called Comoros.

I believe this is the 'one ring' scam where someone from a foreign country rings your phone once tempting you to call them back. When you call back you're charged high fees on your phone bill.

Why in the WORLD despite the fact that this number has been reported/complained about on multiple websites, is nothing in place to shut it down or stop these turds from calling!? What's the point of these websites then? Everybody knows this number's a scammer yet we all remain powerless to do anything about it! Oh because big brother refuses to add a simple number-blocking feature to cell phones, cause god for big people ACTUALLY have control over who calls and harasses them. [***].
