Newer cell phones do come with call blocking features. Others can google free call blocking apps, one is called Mr. Number. Landlines can get call blocking phones (more expensive, less numbers) or call blocking devices (which hold more numbers then phones do) for around 40.00.
The purpose of these sites is so others are aware of why a number may have called.800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users ho just might not have answered the call, not been home when it called or curious as to what and why it may have called.. Solutions and other help is offered by regulars to this site. This is why they exist and obviously everyone does not know.
