I live in IL. I received a call from this number in MI about Home Security Systems, obviously I did not tell them to not call me under option 2 (it seldom works), so..., option 1 rewards me with a lady who identifies herself as "Abby", when I pressed for more information as to how they got my number, she says that her company uses many "satellite offices to make calls" and that they are located in "Washington State" After trying to continue the questions, she said that her position is as a "call screener" and that I would have to answer 3 questions in order to be transferred to an actual sales rep or company employee. After the first question (Was I an actual home owner?) I am indeed. She declared that I "was being very sarcastic" and then promptly hung up. I will be looking forward to our next call. The car warranty scammers called me so often, that all I had to do was answer they would recognize my voice, and hang up.
269-477-2201 number showed up on my caller ID that I didn't recognize so didn't answer. Decided to run a search and came up with this site. Thank goodness I never answered or pressed any of their so-called menu options. People BEWARE once you press menu option 2 THEY KNOW THEY ARE CALLING A GOOD NUMBER and will simply call you back on another line. Just hang up without pressing anything!
It's a security spammer. Don't answer it. If you have a samsung, let it stop, then go into the missed calls and click on the missed number so it brings up the basic info on that number. Then on the bottom left of your phone (not the back button on the right - the left button beside the center "close" button) pr that left button. It'll give you options like copy, delete, send number and add to reject list. Add it to the reject call list. They'll just use a different number a couple weeks later but at least you'll get a small break.
