I live in IL. I received a call from this number in MI about Home Security Systems, obviously I did not tell them to not call me under option 2 (it seldom works), so..., option 1 rewards me with a lady who identifies herself as "Abby", when I pressed for more information as to how they got my number, she says that her company uses many "satellite offices to make calls" and that they are located in "Washington State" After trying to continue the questions, she said that her position is as a "call screener" and that I would have to answer 3 questions in order to be transferred to an actual sales rep or company employee. After the first question (Was I an actual home owner?) I am indeed. She declared that I "was being very sarcastic" and then promptly hung up. I will be looking forward to our next call. The car warranty scammers called me so often, that all I had to do was answer they would recognize my voice, and hang up.
This number called my work-provided blackberry (lol) and since it is not my personal phone, I attempted to answer the call. I got a recorded message telling me I had been referred by someone and that I have been selected to have a wireless security system installed at no charge. The recorded message also instructed me to press "1" to have this done. Finally the instructions were to press "2" to be removed. I pressed "2" and the phone abruptly hung up.
These kind of low-life companies need to be fined out of existence!
