They have been calling me every day at 11;30am and it is very annoying. I too have a mortgage through Nationstar which was recently taken over from GMAC.
I have never been late on my mortgage and I always send a little extra to put towards the princpal each month. I never answer the call because I am at work but I hear the phone vibrating in my purse and it very distracting.
Do no business with Nationstar Mortgage aka Anthony Barone. They called me constantly when I was retired from my job. Saying "you are 65, how can you pay off a 30yr fixed mortgage? I had already paid on it 12yrs, 20% down, was making my payments! They said, we are here to help you, we will buy your home for the balance due. When I refused they raised my payment to triple the original saying I would get a shorter mortgage. They changed my contract without my permission, I sued them! This man Anthony Barone is a crook who preys on people, he needs to go to jail!!
I have also been getting 2-3 calls per day lately from the same number. It coincides with an application to Lending Tree a while back where they give you several mortgage quotes. It appears that they sell your number to other mortgage companies who have not even given you a quote. Thank G-D for caller ID.

Their main toll free # is 888-480-2432 but it's sometimes easier to reach them by calling their collections telephone #: 888-850-9344 (they want their money, so someone ALWAYS answers quickly in the collections department!) I have my mortgage through them and they ar a pain in the a**. I cannot wait to refinance with another company, which hopefully will have better customer service (wishful thinking???). I just told the guy at Nationstar that if I continue to have problems with phone calls (this is the 3rd or 4th time) I will just give them false contact info.
