They have been calling me every day at 11;30am and it is very annoying. I too have a mortgage through Nationstar which was recently taken over from GMAC.
I have never been late on my mortgage and I always send a little extra to put towards the princpal each month. I never answer the call because I am at work but I hear the phone vibrating in my purse and it very distracting.

This call does definitely coemes from Nation Star Mortgaeg. They took over Di-Tech. LLC which was originally GMAC. I have been dealing with them to transfer the balance of the mortage to my name. My hgusband died in 2007 and I have been paying since. I was told this cannot be done and I would have to refinance and can't assume .. not what Di-Tech told me. Anyway they call a couple of times a day and do not leave a message. Guees caller ID has soem advantage. They just want to sell you a mortag
I dialed 269-768-2191 just now.
It was answered as Nation Star Mortgage.
I had done this a month back and asked to be placed on their Do Not Call list.
Of course I still received calls including today.
I asked for a supervisor to add me to the DNC list.
Of course the 'supervisor' could just be the guy sitting next to the person who fielded my call - I don't know. We'll see. Also told them if I continue getting calls I'll report that to the State's Attorney General. Unfortuantely, the do not call laws allow companies you are doing business with to legally call you unsolicited. My mortgage was aquired by these pigs through no action or desire on my part.
If this doesn't work, I'll call up and change my phone number to someone I don't like.
They call me several times a week. I called them back and someone that sounded foreign immediately answered and said he was from Nationstar Mortgage. I hung up on him. I called Nationstar's real 1-800 number and they've never heard of this number and they're located in Texas so they would not have a Michigan number. Nationstar is my mortgage provider so I'm assuming this 269 number is some scammer posing as Nationstar in order to steal sensitive info such as soc # or loan #. Do not answer and report them immediately!
