I just received a call from these ppl.  When I informed him that I knew he was a scam artist as I had received the same type of phone call before and would never give ANYONE remote access to my computers, I soon found myself listening to dead air.  He had hung up the phone on me.  Can we all say SCAM ARTIST!!

Received a call from this no to fix problems with computer.I refused  but how do they know that my virus protection had to be renewed?

You are a liar. You didn't get help from people at a random phone number and then Google the number, find this forum and post happy thoughts about it. You work for them and you're trying to trick others into falling for this scam.

They didn't know. They say that to everyone. They are criminals who want to break in to your computer.
