Same deal as pissed.I could not understand half of what she was saying.

Called and left message ( from Jake or Shane no company name; talked too fast and low to clearly understand) about a summons. Left phone number and case number. But when I called back it was info about show times for some British radio show.

Got a call from MGF and Associates about a "Summons" and they said they were going to transfer me to a case worker. After a long silence, the person came back on the phone and gave me a number to call as he could not connect me. I called the number 877-459-6689 and spoke with Nick at MGF and Associates. He said I owed over $800 from a cash loan but would settle for $520 payment. When I asked him which cash loan company this was from, he said it was FDR Funding. I explained to him that I've never heard of FDR Funding and do not owe anyone. He said FDR Funding is an underwriter for many cash loan companies. I explained to him that I would need to know the exact name of the cash loan company. He said he would put this in his notes and send it back to FDR Funding. Places like this make me sick! They prey on people hoping that they will just settle so they can get money. Do your homework! And if you do owe money, call the company directly...don't go through these people!!!!

I just received the same exact call.  LITERALLY!!  The same exact call as you worded in your post.  I Nick to serve me since they claimed to have papers for me.  The only difference is that I supposedly had a $600 cash loan, which I supposedly defaulted on and that they would accept $400. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM.

Got same message about summons and MGF. Have gotten it beforea few months ago, but checked this site and did not return calls. They cannot notify by phone and I have read enough posts on enough sites to show this is a call that is not a vaild one. There has been one post saying they did research, but found it was a collection agency and have no right to represent themselves as litigation department.
