I got a call from this number on 6/22 saying that there was a formal complaint against me, and to have two forms of id ready as attempts to deliver documents relating to this complaint would be made. They told me to call 844-712-2130 if I had any questions.
I got a very similar call from 214-200-4444 a few weeks ago.
Clearly a scam of some sort, I'm guessing you're supposed to call the alternate number and will then be asked to verify certain information about yourself and that's how they get your info.
My mother received a phone call same message as everyone else there was a formal complaint filed against her she needs to call back as soon as possible she has two days to respond . Her name was Cynthia Bishop . You stated there is a possible class action lawsuit against this company ? How can I speak with this attorney ? Thanks ! :) Date of call : 8/21/2015
Had the same experience. Got called from 212-200-5074 (NY) and 281-202-0200 (TX) on two different occasions. The message is clearly recorded, states that it is "Amanda Gallagher calling from Private Servicing division of United Processing." States that they will make 2 attempts to deliver paperwork at home or at work, please have 2 forms of ID available. Gives the phone number 844-712-2130 to call if you or your lawyer have questions.
Don't give them any personal information! I haven't called any of the numbers but it is clearly a scam. Blocked the first number and got called from a new one.
I have been receiving these same calls continuously and daily. I finally took to google for research and glad I found this! They have new numbers....same scam.
