I also received a call from this number today but did not answer it as I am sick n' tired of receiving all of the calls from the spammers, spoofer's and phishing lowlifes that have nothing better to do with their lives!
This is the second day in a row that this number has called. I do not answer numbers that I do not know, so I just added them to a contact listed in my cell that sends all calls directly to voicemail. This way, it doesn't even ring out to me. The Do Not Call Registry is a joke. These companies don't care and apparently nothing is being done to monitor these offenses.
Gota call offering 2 free cruise tickets (right) if I would answer a few survey questions. Questions were about health care insurance, fat pills, free education, and other bull crap. Then the message changed from offering 2 free tickets to 2 free boarding passes, and to press 1 if I wanted an agent to call me. So I pressed one hoping to get out my air horn and blow out some [***] ears with it, but pressing one went to busy and disconnected the call. Called the number on my caller ID and it said its a Verizon wireless mobile number but can't leave a message. Darn...I wanted to give my air horn a workout.
Being on the Do Not Call list means nothing, when was the last time you saw a news story about someone being prosecuted for violating a Do Not Call List? Exactly. They just load up a 10,000 number block and start dialing, they don't check it against lists.
