I also received a call from this number today but did not answer it as I am sick n' tired of receiving all of the calls from the spammers, spoofer's and phishing lowlifes that have nothing better to do with their lives!
Got a call this afternoon and answered it. No response from the other party and they did not hang up for another 10 seconds. Sounds like a computer generated call to see if my number is for real.
I got a call from this number just now. Last week, they were all from California... a couple of weeks ago, from somewhere else in the USA. The numbers change but the calls are all the same. I've been getting them for the past 2 years now. I don't think there should be a way to spoof a phone number. I think more needs to be done about this. I have reported these calls to the FCC, they've investigated, but nothing ever comes of it because the calls wind up originating from outside of the country. I stopped reporting the calls after that. There really is no point. I guess it will be a never-ending headache to deal with until marketers find another way to annoy us. It just sucks that these calls are coming to my cell phone.
