Just received TWO phone calls back to back from this number, stating there will be a warrant out for my arrest due to an IRS lawsuit. I tried to call the number back and it is a recording that says "No Routes Found". This call is a complete SCAM! I hope people are not falling for this.
This is a scam! Caller states they are from the IRS and they are investigating a fraud report in your name. If you do not call back there will be a warrant issued for your arrest. It goes on to state that this type of arrest is a non-bondable offense. A call back to this number does not go through.
I received a call on my answering machine from this number stating that they are from the IRS and they are investigating a fraud report in your name. •You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
