This man, Alan Parker, called and informed me that I was under investigation for criminal acts...for a supposedly bad check that I had written in December of 2005...when I was going through a divorce and neither one of use were writing checks.  He said that so far there was no warrant was issued for me, but that would change in 48 hours.  I will admit, I laughed at him.  I told him that there was no way I had written a bad check since I've never written a bad one in my life...but there is also a statute of limitations on such things in this state...6 years is the limit.  Mr. Parker told me that I was "stupid" and that there is no such thing as a statute of limitations.  
I also spoke with the company he is misrepresenting...and they will now be investigating Alan Parker.  The other company is the one that clued me onto this page.
Alan Parker is nothing but a fraud.

who did you happen to contact with his company? could you leave a name and number please?! He claims to be with Nationwide Investigations, but no one can find anything about them?!  The BBB said that it appears that the number is linked in with a Telemarketing hub!!

I contacted Nationwide Special Investigation Services (if you get Mr. Parker talking long enough, he will tell you that that is the company he works for).  I spoke with the district manager, Ray, and he said that Mr. Parker is totally lying about working for their company...he went on to say that he has only heard of Mr. Parker because of calls like this and the true Nationwide Investigation company does not even have an office in MD!  Needless to say, Ray is quite upset and will now be investigating the situation.  
Also, the BBB said they have no record of such a company in MD.  
Alan Parker is just another jerk trying to con innocent people out of their honest, hard earned money.
If you look up Nationwide Special Investigation Services, that will lead you to the true company...ask to speak to Ray.  By the way, he is the one that led me to this page.  He is a bit pissed about someone misrepresenting his company in such an awful way.
