Call asking for donations, but I hung up before I could find out for what because my husband kept telling me to just hang up. The caller ID had the name "ILYM". I've never heard of them.
He asked for my brother's name in a deep voice and I thought maybe a repair man just had the wrong number because my brother moved and no longer at my address. He sounded a bit rude because he just mentioned my brother's first name in an unprofessional tone.
I also got call from this number trying to collect funds for police officers killed in line of duty, when I asked simple questions he started arguing... I knew it was a scam to get credit card or checking account numbers.. I told him I am federal employee on federal govt phone, he got scared and hang up. If he was genuine or a true police officer he would not be scared and talk politely. Suggest next time you all tell such callers your phone is a federal phone line and subject to random-recording --- scammers will get off your back, or stop calling for some time.
