Man with accent wanted an employee who doesn't work at this site. He asked, "You don't have her number?" Correct. "You cannot tell me her location?" Affirmative. "But her name is in the directory, right?" Then he said Thank You and hung up. Many of these callers use the same approach, which I find very irritating. What is their objective?
The CID was HLTH HUMAN SVC calling a business, claiming to be UPS, obviously from a call center boiler room featuring a caller with a heavy Indian accent asking for some name. Kind of screams scam, right? We think so.
My receptionist said she had someone on the line who was looking for me. I answered, identifying myself, and the person immediately hung up. He said he was from UPS. Caller ID was HLTH HUM SVC.
