you looked up the number of your employer? Why would you do that?
As to how this scam works, they send you a check, tell you to cash it, send money somewhere, and eventually the check turns out to be no good and you are stuck for the money and the bank fees.
Or as an alternative you are to receive packages and resend them somewhere.
Received text message from Lifetime Healthcare Companies claiming they have a legitimate positions for me. With my real name and sounded almost legit until they required my email address provider like Google, Yahoo, etc. The resume they have claimed to hold normally has an email address that they should have found and sent me the offers and website but they provided nothing. This is a scam and will be reported to the authorities. There are other websites that also mention that the have been blocked under other phone numbers.
How did they scam you? I received my every thing that was in the job offer, i'm set up with the company and working with them. They provided everything they said and they never asked for a dime. So I guess my question again is How Did you get Scammed???
