i have been getting these calls for months. saying they r going to aresste me they call my work 20 times a day i went tothe police and they r looking in to it.they told me they cant come to the to arrest u they have to send court things in mail. so iam not worried
This company called and stated that I took a payday loan last year online and that they were sending MD Sherrifs to arrest me unless I paid $787 dollars. When I asked for their address they gave some bogus maryland address in of 221 North Hogan Street, Cheshire, MD 20746. I don't believe there is a city in MD with that name.
These people truly are CON artist. They called me saying they were from the Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) saying unless I paid them manoey for a loan I supposedly took out they would issue a warrant for my arrest. DO NOT pay them anything. Report it to the Federal Trade Commision (FTC) asap. Also, make sure you check your accounts and credit report. INCREDIBLE, right?!?!?!?!?!
Have been receiving threatenting phone calls from these people also. Claiming to be from BCI (Bureau of Criminal Investigation) and the strange thing is on my caller ID it says 911 emergency. However the number she ( Kathy Jackson) gives me to call back is (301) 458-7129 extention 228. She states that there is a legal case against my name and social and state that there will be charges brought against me if I refuse to return the call. I have reported these poeple when they called from a Florida number now they have switched to a MD number and it appears on my caller ID as 911 emergency. IT IS ALL A SCAM!!! I 've had 3 more phone calls from her within the last hour. And the time is now 11:00 am.
