keep in mind that it's not that hard to spoof a caller id number. I'm overseas, my card was declined, and I did get a call from citibank, so this is a legit number. but it doesn't mean that a scammer can't just spoof that number and call you as well. anyhow, be careful
THIS IS A CREDIT CARD FRAUD ... SOMEONE AT THIS NUMBER HAS STOLEN OUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER. We received a phone call from (301)714-5301 from a lady saying she was from CitiBank/Quicken, and she was calling to verify a $1.37 charge that was made in Pennsylvania ... she then asked for the number on the back of the card ... when I said "no", she said she meant to say that we should call the phone number on the back of the card. My wife immediately called Quicken, and they said it appears as if someone has our credit card & may be doing a test to see if the card is OK and if we catch it. The credit card company is verifying this as a fraud case.
noone has stolen your card at that number... they called me and are the fraud warning department. I didn't give them any credit card info, just verified my verbal password and they had my account information. They are legit, just warning me about fraudulant charges. They closed my account without me giving my number to them and have a new card in the mail to me.
