This number calls several times a day. The Caller ID says "Not Available". It rings once or twice then hangs up. If you try to answer, it's silence then it finally hangs up. This has been happening everyday for WEEKS!!!!! I hope someone can put a stop to this!
The phone rang and I picked it up. I asked who it was and what the purpose of the call was. Some [***] told me that he needed to speak with my parents and it was none of my business. If it's the fire department, then why the hell is it such a secret? Probably because he wants money. He said he'd call back in a half an hour, but I'll be damned if he gets to speak with my parents. I'm going to threaten to call the cops on him next time he calls. [***].
I just got a call from this number. The solicitor harrassed me, and was quite threatening. I am now scared- I hope they don't come by and burn my house down or something. I used to give them money, but they got more and more agressive, but this is way over the top. Do we have a DA's office which takes care of things like this? I think I will call our local fire and rescue, and see if they have a connection. If not, maybe they will organize against these folks.
