This number calls several times a day. The Caller ID says "Not Available". It rings once or twice then hangs up. If you try to answer, it's silence then it finally hangs up. This has been happening everyday for WEEKS!!!!! I hope someone can put a stop to this!
This idiot keeps calling almost daily and at inconvenient times from "301-723-7009". He has been told many times not to call again but he keeps calling even very early Saturday and Sunday mornings. He says he is calling on behalf of Montgomery County Career Firefighters Union. We checked and learned that the union does not solicit by telephone. It is annoying when the [***] gets away with the impolite and argumentative language to support his insistence to keep calling.
I've gotten a number of these which, because I don't recognize the number, I don't answer. Finally I got annoyed enough to start checking it out and ended up here. According to http://www.whitepages.com/ the number is an unpublished Verizon land line in Cumberland, MD (quite a distance from, and definitely not in, Montgomery County).
I have firefighter acquaintance and will see if he knows anything about this. Judging by some of the comments here (and at other reporting sites: http://whocallsme.com/ and http://www.callercomplaints.com/) the callers are not doing the union any favors and perhaps the union may like to know.
