I have received numerous phone calls from this Maryland number for a month. Everytime I answer the phone they hang up. I called the number back and they couldn't tell me anything. I then looked this number up on line and found out other people are having the same problems. So, I called the number back and told "Carlos" not to ever contact me again that they are a fraud. He then proceeded to tell me I owe a long distance bill to Sprint. I do not have long distance on my home phone. I hung up on him. He said he would continue to call me even though I told him not to call my house again.
The best I way I found to handle these calls is to ask the person calling to send you the bill in the mail, no matter what they insist on you doing over the phone. Since your great Congress of the U.S. is too busy figuring out ways to "help" you, I doubt they will seriously take the time to stop these kinds of calls. Get caller I.D. so you know who's calling before you answer it. Give them some of their own medicine by demanding they do what you want them to do, and not the other way around.
We've been reporting these nuts to "DoNotCall".
Today after some three months they switched numbers from 703-291-9039 to 301-882-9950.
Maybe, "DoNotCall" finally got busy with them on the 703 number, so today they change.
The caller's ring was only three. I was dripping water to answer, thinking it was someone I wanted to chat with. I'm really ******at them!
They call all the time, land line and cell phone. When I answer, a computer tells ME to 'Please Hold'. Are you kidding me? Twice I have actually waited and someone gets on the line and asks for 'Julio' or 'Arturo' or other name. When told there is no one by that name, they just hang up on me. SCAM!
This number keeps calling me at work. I picked it up announce my company name and then they hang up. What can we do abou that? They call all the time and never says anything.
