I received a call from a person, stating I owe for a credit card back in 2008, I never had a credit card back then, when I told her that I will give her my attoney's number she hung up, so I called back and said don't hang up on me, and if I owe you money then take my attorney's number she hung up again.
Got call stating claim has been filed against me scheduled processing for your state and federal law legal action maybe necessary to call 302-241-0396.
They try this every year. Getting really tired of them.
Same calls as everyone else. Try to call the number back and directly says mailbox is full...hopefully full of pissed off people tired of this bs.
I put my number on the do not call list and still get this crap. What good does that do if they still call?
The do not call registry list does not apply to debt collectors and does not have the power of law enforcement against scammers who are criminals. FCC, FBI, etc. handle these. The sole and only purpose of the DNC is to "Limit" the number of "Sales Calls" made by Legitimate and Registered with the FTC American Telemarketing companies.
And it works very well. Our unwanted calls are coming from the low life of society and foreign scammers.
