I am currently going through the same thing, however I thought it was legit, I gave them info, and wanted to stay out of court, and they took money out of my account, they had all my info that's why I thought it was legit, they said they were from Orchard Bank. They called left a message I called right back and someone answered, when I called today I gotta bogus voice mail. I'm freaking out. I called the police and they told me to contact my bank to stop payment. I can't believe I was so stupid to allow this to happen.
I got the same message for the last two days. Both times I didn't have time to write down the number so I stayed on the line. Waited and waited and then it just hung up on me. Called it back & got an automated computer voicemail. Called again and this lady answered. Told me I was on a recorded line and they would give it to the judge because I got mad when she kept saying I owed money from 2007, but couldn't give me any information. Seems like a mediator would have all the information if I owed money. Said I'd been sent to collections in 2009. I had no idea what she was talking about. She said if I didn't pay then they would have me served and I would have to go in front of a judge. When I started asking for her information she escalated it, I told her not to be rude, she said I was the one who started being rude first and she'd just let the judge hear... then she had the audacity to hang up on me! Scary that they have my address and last four of social! Called BBB and State Dept. of Finance for my state. They said it is a BIG SCAM!

This number left 2 voicemails by the name of James Powell that I must call back or sherrif will be picking me up... I called back unprofessional rep answer & said give me your claim number I advised them I put complaint agains this scam....
Just received a call from 3022953731 stating they represented citibank and that I owed $5000and that a sheriff would serve me ..reported it to citibank ...stating this company is a fraud ...be careful. ..
Call from them today saying that I was being served papers from Sprint PCS within next 48 hours. They had my last four of SSN, address and full name. I have never been a Sprint PCS Customer. I contacted Sprint PCS and they verified that I have never been a customer and have no debt with them. I've contacted my Lawyer and am waiting for the papers to show up in the mail!
