I am currently going through the same thing, however I thought it was legit, I gave them info, and wanted to stay out of court, and they took money out of my account, they had all my info that's why I thought it was legit, they said they were from Orchard Bank. They called left a message I called right back and someone answered, when I called today I gotta bogus voice mail. I'm freaking out. I called the police and they told me to contact my bank to stop payment. I can't believe I was so stupid to allow this to happen.
Just received the same message but from 203-307-1160. Called it back and got the same deal-pending litigation. Woman was rude. Told her I never dealt with the company she stated Internet Payday loan and that I would need something in writing. She refused so I asked to speak to a manager. Talked to a Mark Douglas. I asked for their address and he said they don't give it out because they are afraid people will go there and shoot them, lol. I stated again I never heard of that company and need something in writing. I then stated that I have been unemployed for over a year and that is when he hung up.
Got similar call from this number as well as a phone number in CT with same voicemail message. James Howard with process mediation for a 68 dollar debt that i have with a bank from 2007. Informing credit bureaus and major credit card companies that these scumbags may have my personal information and putting a password on my bank accounts. If some one gets a hold of this companies real name please share it I'm sure a lot of people would love to sue them for something like this and they need to be reported to the federal trade commission
