Calls coming in the evening now (had a Sunday call, too). Didn't answer unrecognized numbers. I emailed the Atty Gen office as advised by Verizon. Like that will really help.

Looking at prior notes. 1. Medical alert scam. 2. Alarm company free system & a free sign in your front yard. 3. Medical supplement insurance. 4. Reverse medical insurance. 5. Sterling Mortgage Co. 6. And then I get a caller ID ..... POLLING QUEST? Like maybe a possible political call ?

Female robovoice saying can save me money and provide extra $$$ for present use. I knew this was a mortgage loan call so I spoke back in halting robovoice. When it asked if I still own my home I said No and she replied...Oh I'm sorry you do not qualify for this program and I will remove you from our lists....Man, I think I hit the jackpot. CID "Alert".
I picked up the phone but no one on the other end. I said hello again and there was a long delay, about 10 seconds of silence (yeah, I listened for that long), then a beeping sound and finally a lady came on. By that time, I was fed up with the long delay after I said hello twice and no response, so I hung up. That's what they get when they don't say anything after I've said hello twice!
