These jerks called and I answered and said hello twice. Twice is enough. I hung up. Then I picked back up to do *69. The guy was on the phone and said Hello. I hung up on him. They call here all the time. I'm in the Atlanta, Georgia area.
These people called last year saying they were AT&T & could save me all sorts of $$ and then gave me a private code (which happened to be the last 4 digits of our phone number) to use for security purposes when the installation man comes on sight. I knew it was a scam - repeatedly asked what the name of the company was they worked for. Finally got an actual legitimate answer of Birch Communications. I told him to remove our number as we do not do business with liars. I received another call from this number today. Looks like they are making the rounds again. No one was there when I answered this time. I will file a complaint with FCC just like I did last year and maybe it will take another year before they call back? Ironic how we get these calls once we go on the Do Not Call list and then when file an FCC complaint they stop for a bit, then start right back up in the near future. Interesting coincidence.
Just got 2 more calls from this same place this morning. I call the number back & it says "You have reached Birch Communications, if you would like to speak with someone please press 1" - I pressed options #1 I got another automated voice (female) saying if I would like to leave a message with their corporate office please do so now. So I did - I again asked them to remove my number - I'm becoming extremely impatient with these types of calls especially from the same place I have asked to be removed from numerous times. We'll see if I get any calls going forward. Thanks for the info on the reply - but it clearly didn't keep this company from doing it again
Another wonderful call from this company - I was not a nice person to talk to. this is not my normal nature. I am beyond SICK of these people calling my business. the owner answered the call coming in this time. The caller said he needed to speak to the person in charge of the AT&T account. The owner put the call to me. I saw the number on the caller ID. The guy asked me if I was the person in charge of the AT&T account. I said yes, I am also the person who has asked repeatedly to be taken off of your calling list as your company has no affiliation with AT&T and I will not be scammed. The guy said - "this is the first time I've talked with you" I said maybe, but it's not the first time I've spoken with someone from your company TODAY, let alone numerous times this week. TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST!! I have reported on the FCC complaint sight AGAIN! That's probably why they keep calling. UUUUGGGGGHHHHH
