I was being harassed by this number, and so did some investigating. The company, collegeforcareers.com, is owned by Marketing Direct/Marketing Links Direct Inc. of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Their phone number is 954-727-1323.
All attempts to contact them and be taken off the list have otherwise failed. Hopefully they take me off now that I have located and contacted their main office.
They called during class and a scary fake voice, like from the movies when someone is kidnapped, spoke quietly and slowly something intelligible. Hung up. I added my name to the No Call list this morning but today is the first time this has happened. They called twice today. Someone please shut them down. What is the purpose of it??
05/13/10 number just called and I did not answer. This has continually happened for weeks. Attempted to place on do not call list with no success. If anyone of you are posting for jobs or colleges online, these idiots are getting our cell numbers from someone who is selling them. Don't answer and do not call back. Delete the call from your cell and let it go. Hopefully this particular party will stop. Know that another will pop up in the future. FCC needs to place a strickter regulation on the cell phone providers to regulate this type of call.
