I was being harassed by this number, and so did some investigating. The company, collegeforcareers.com, is owned by Marketing Direct/Marketing Links Direct Inc. of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Their phone number is 954-727-1323.
All attempts to contact them and be taken off the list have otherwise failed. Hopefully they take me off now that I have located and contacted their main office.
I got the call twice today, same bs. Luckiy Verizon has a block number bit and it is now listed. I shouldn't get any more. One thing good about verizon. I beleive after reading all comments it is a solicitor. Nothing scary, just annoying. Deffinatel not a tracker.... lol silly that.
I get calls from this number 3 times a day starting at 7am up until midnight. They call on Saturday and Sunday at 7 am too. They never leave a message.
yeah, keep getting the calls too. i too called back and entered the do not call list, so we'll see what happens. I'm uneasy that the recording has an accent because a lot over overseas (casinos, scams, etc) sound the same. it did say it was some college.com crap, but if it was legite they would leave a voicemail.
