I called them back and heard a short, partial message to "enter your 10-digit phone number after the beep to be removed from their list" Never heard the beep but entered my cell # anyway. We'll see.
Just received a call from 302-394-6831 andI got the same request, to lower my credit card rating. I asked who they wanted to talk to as there are a few people with cards here. They wouldn't tell me. I said they needed to tell me or I would hang up. They gave me a name I didn't know. I hung up.
the person on the taped msg told me they had tried to get a hold of me a few times and this was my last chance to get a lowered rate on my credit card and to press one now.....I hung up!!!!!!!!!!!

I too just got a call from the above number. When I asked who and what company he was calling from he too replied financial services. When I asked him how he got my number he told me he got it from the credit burrow (sp?) I also called it a scam. If you try to call the number back it will give you some recording that if you press 1 you will be taken off there call list.
