I called them back and heard a short, partial message to "enter your 10-digit phone number after the beep to be removed from their list" Never heard the beep but entered my cell # anyway. We'll see.
I get calls from this number 302-394-6831
at least once a week.
I have clicked in #2 to removed from the list they still call
I have chosen #1 to speak to someone to lower my intrest rants and asked to be removed.
They slam the phone down.
A false sense of urgency - this is your last notice... We have tried to get a hold of you... While there is no problem with your credit cards now...
They are NOT calling from your bank or other credit agency.
They do not have your credit history
They do not have your credit card numbers.
This is a "service" to call your bank on your behalf and ask to lower your interest rates after you give them your card numbers. Once they do this they charge you a few hundred dollars on your credit cards.
Remember your pressed "1" to lower your interest rates? You gave them permission to charge for this "service".
They do not process their "do not call" lists. They are not in Canada and are not subject to the National DNC list
