This is Jp morgan/chase bank. All calls coming from that building come up 302-758-1000 no matter if it is card sevice,fraud,or whatever...My husband works in that building as a software engineer and if he calls from his desk phone it comes up the same.
i took a call from this number and looked it up because it seemed suspicious. i guess it was concerning my chase bank account as well. wanted to me to give updated work info. i gave a vague answer and he suddenly wanted to end the call. just seemed like a weird call...
they said they were with Chase Credit Card and asked if I applied for a charge card (I did not), but I did have some dealing with them on a loan recently. Seems legit.
6oct09. The is card services for Chase Bank. They handle the Continental Airlines credit card. The caller identified herself by name and said this was Chase card servces and left an 888 number to call back and a reference number; however, when you call they do not identify themselves as Chase. This was about a credit card I had recently applied for online. They needed my name, home address and date of birth for ID. They needed to reduce the line on another card I had with them in order to issue this card also.It is legit.
they just called my work phone, it only rang once. i picked up the receiver, and they hung up.
then i got a call from the same number on my cell. rang once & then the call ended. no voicemail.
i have a chase credit card, but i have not applied for any new ones recently and i don't have a continental arlines related one.
i think it's shenanigans.
