It took my bank a few mins but they located my statement. No debt dr transaction ever took place. Chase advised to not fax anything to anyone who I feel is a scam. So my next step is reporting this
The call from these people actually came from a number that showed up as Unknown. I let it go to voicemail because I've gotten similar calls before, unfortunately. When I listened to the message, the caller introduced themselves as Christopher Kennan and was almost the exact same message as Jo's listed above, telling me that I have a warrant that is attached to my name and Social Security number.
These loser scum bags called my cell and work and told them its in regards to a warrant. seriously...scams always happen this time of year. Why are these a wipes trying to take advantage...It sounded like a young African American girl that couldn't read the scam cheat sheet to the full capacity...just said my name on vm and was to call their office back...if it was legit they would announce their name and not state what the call was in reference to without confirming who they are actually speaking to....Ive already turned them in with the phone number they called me on and blocked the phone number from contacting me again,.
